01 / ABOUT ME
Behind the camera.
Beyond the image.
I’m Roberto Montebello, an Italian filmmaker, photographer, and visual storyteller based in Tübingen, Germany.
02 / MY STORY
THE STORY
BEHIND THE LENS
Originally from Pescara, Italy, I now call Tübingen home. I work across film, photography and visual storytelling, bringing a cinematic eye to real people, places and ideas.
I completed my Master’s degree in audiovisual and multimedia arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Macerata, graduating with 110/110 cum laude. An Erasmus programme at the University of Salford brought me to Greater Manchester, where I also gained professional experience with BBC Studios in television and audiovisual production.
My commercial photography, product imagery and video experience includes work with Alpha Industries. Today, I create corporate films, document events and scientific conferences, and produce photography and video for restaurants, hospitality businesses and brands. My projects have involved organizations including CeGaT and the ELLIS Institute in Tübingen.

04 / MY APPROACH
MORE THAN
JUST VISUALS
I start by understanding the story behind a project: what matters, who it’s for, and what it needs to say. I combine cinematic quality with an honest sense of place, looking for genuine interactions and the atmosphere that makes each story its own.
I work closely with my clients from planning and production through editing and final delivery. I want every film and photograph to do more than look beautiful — to communicate clearly, capture real moments and create meaningful connections.
Based in Tübingen, Germany, I work with businesses, research institutions and creative teams across Stuttgart and the wider Baden-Württemberg region. I offer corporate video production, event videography, professional photography and commercial filmmaking, shaped around each project’s story and audience.
